Outdoors cooking - group activity

We at Escape Outdoors enjoy the combination of the good food and good company and the relaxed atmosphere of the outdoors.

Cooking together is fun and creates a good team feeling. Everyone is needed in this excersice. Our guide and chef, Daniel, will direct everyone to a task and soon the good smell from the meal will begin to spread. Staying outdoors ensures for booth good mood and apetite.

Cooking over open fire - a group activity

As a stand alone activity or as part of a guided trip we offer outdoor cooking excersice under the professional supervision from our cook Daniel Brobäck.

We have a number of favorite spots only a short paddle or walking distance from our center in Önnered. We also like to visit some of the wonderfull natural areas that surrounds the city of Göteborg.

Everyone can join in and enjoy our guided trips with food-theme. Young or grown up, chef of novis? It does not matter, everyone is welcome. Together we will create a unique food and cooking experience. Even if the cooking itself might end up as the best part o the trip we can assure you that the taste of the food that you make will stay in your memory a long time as well.

We provide everything nessecery for the trip. We provide rain coats and boots if needed. The choise of food is maked considering the current seasson and care of nature.

Many of our trips start at our base in Önnered, our home waters that we know in and out. We start in our main hall and this is also were we end our trip. Everybody helps to pack and carry the gear needed and there will be a short walk of 20 minutes, if it is not a kayaking trip. At the site we split the work between us. Our cook will give you good advice on outdoor kooking and preparation. After cooking, eating and a nice coffe we make our way back without leaving any tracks.

If you prefer we can start from where you are located or from another location of your choise.

Example 1:

Short hike by foot to a small forest with views of the ocean. We cook and eat together. Time required: 3 hours. Price 795 SEK per person.

Example 2:

Kayak trip from Escape Outdoors with a cooking session of 90 min in the middle. Total time required:5 hours. Price 1395 SEK per person.

Minimun number of participants/portions is 6. Any transports needed to the starting point is not included in the price but can be arranged.
